I've introduced these lovely instruments (this and the Celtic mandolin) to my line after some guitar material supply issues. It's been a very rewarding step to take, both in construction and finished instruments!

This is a long scale, large flat-top bouzouki, with a 15' top radius and a gentle rounded V neck profile. Body joint at 17th fret and heel extending to the 14th fret for very comfortable higher access. This Instrument sounds great capo'd and is really fun to play that way.

Bright and present yet sonorous and rich, the birdseye maple gives a clear beautiful tone as compared to the thicker and rounder tone of rosewood, though I love both.

Fretboard has a slight, 40" radius.

Appointments of shop-made natural wood purfling, brass fret markers and a hammered copper tailpiece, made here in the shop. This tailpiece works most naturally with ball end strings but there are a few ways to use your favorite loop ends. Smooth turning Gotoh tuners. Finished with a beautiful French-polish throughout, hand rubbed down to a satin sheen.

Includes Gator thick padded gig bag.

Please feel free to contact me and we'll arrange for you to try to out this mandolin.
